The change and challenge of today must be met by recognising opportunity and innovating to provide affordable food, protect nature and be a positive influence on the environment more widely. Marrying traditional estate practices and more lateral thinking offers an exciting outlook as we work with young farmers, as well as agri-business to establish regenerative methods of food production. Thus allowing plenty of room for wild flowers, birds and insects. Tidiness is an enemy to bio-diversity and so, where we can, Rewilding areas of the estate is handing back control to Mother Nature.

- Our in hand farming operation aims to cause minimal disruption to the soil by keeping living roots in the ground all year round for soil regeneration.
- Partnering with young and ambitious local farmers encourages the next generation of farmers and enables a diverse mix of crops to be grown and grazed by their cattle and sheep.
- We are investing in and promoting modern farming methods, using indoor technology to produce food. This means its not just about 'acres', but how 'square feet' can be maximised to be more productive as well as energy efficient.
