The de Brito Trust was set up by the Foljambe family to support charitable projects. The trustees are currently funding a Ugandan education project, as well as causes in the UK and closer to home in North Nottinghamshire.
The Country Trust
The organisation provides children from under privileged and inner city backgrounds with the opportunity to learn in and about the countryside. The sponsored residential visits gives the children complete immersion into a different way of life.
The de Brito trustees are honored to be able to support this valuable work in an ever more hectic and digital world for children.

The trust can provide financial support with grants of between £250 to £10,000 for causes and projects that encompass the following:
- Children’s health, welfare and education.
- Adult mental and physical health and wellbeing.
- Educational leisure opportunities for young people.
- Conflict and natural disaster relief.
- Built heritage and landscape preservation and restoration.
- War veterans’ rehabilitation and reintegration.

The team at Beaumond House Hospice Care are there for families when every moment matters, providing vital Palliative care to patients and supporting their families in the Newark and Sherwood area. Grants have been utilised for the charity shop’s refurbishment and for urgently needed care giving equipment.
